Damien had just happened to be walking outside of Littleroot town when the unexpected happened. He had just gotten into the wild grasses when he looked to see out of the corner of his eye a pokemon looking the other way. He was determined to use Absol and get his first wild pokemon caught. He hoped just that it was something good.

suddenly a Bulbasaur jumped out and started at him

Damien grinned as he released Absol from his pokeball. "Go Ace!" He then spoke once more, "Use Bite on that Bulbasaur Ace!" Ace then raced forward at the bulbasaur and attempted to fiercely bite at his side.

the Bulbasaur wasnt too fast and was hit by the attack but then it countered with a Tackle

Absol was able to strike the bulbasaur with a strong bite attack to the side, but was unable to fully see his counter attack. He looked to see the bulbasaur tackle him head on, but Absol was able to slightly dodge the attack, and only sustained a minor blow. Damien then spoke to Ace "Ace, use Razor Wind to finish this up quickly." Absol then whipped his head around and send a large cyclone bulbasaur's way, hoping to sweep him up in it.

seeing as Ace had to charge energy to fire razor wind Bulbasaur was able to tackle again and hit it as it couldnt dodge

Absol sadly had to chage the energy for his attack, and was stuck as bulbasaur hit him, but he tried to stay upright, and was able to, taking all of the attack. He then had the energy needed, as he pushed the razor wind forward, right into bulbasaur who wasnt too far away, hoping it would hit.

Bulbasaur was in a mad scramble for an escape route but was hit by the attack leaving very little energy left

Damien nodded to Absol as he knew that this was the right moment, as he threw a pokeball towards the hurt and nearly fainted Bulbasaur. He hoped that it would take but wouldnt quite know for sure.
